    Start Profiling an Application

    To profile the memory of an application perform the following steps:

    1. Select the Profile Application command from the menu or toolbar.

    2. The “Profile Application” wizard appears.

    3. Use the Browse button or the drop-down list to select the executable file of the application you want to profile.

    4. If you want to supply program arguments, enter the command line in the Command line arguments field.

    5. If you need to specify the working directory of the application, you can do that using the Working directory field.

    6. If you want to profile using the default settings, click Start to start the application.

    7. Determine if you want to profile the started process, the first .NET process, or the started process including all child processes (enterprise only).

    8. If you want to modify settings, you can use the Next button to modify some common settings.

    9. When you have decided on the settings, click Start to start the application.
